Today we're getting rock and stucco on our house. Cami has been a bit of a stress case with the "matching" of rock and stucco. Picture samples and swatches of color look so different in real life and in big scale. It's just been hard to figure out what we're really going to get, but it's all starting to come together. I spent 2 
hrs with our stucco man mixing and creating new colors. It was like working with a mad scientist. We'd add the colors for the base, and then we'd at a tsp of black and a Tbsp of brown, and then stir, and a little more of each and then stir some more. We'd apply some to his "shed of many colors" and then wait, and wait, and wait for it to dry and take on a completely different color than what we had in the bucket. It was quite the chore, but I think our colors are going to work...whew!
